.NOW...

at 1245 am...national weather service doppler radar detected
scattered showers across eastern oklahoma and northwest arkansas.
The activity is moving northeast at 20 to 30 mph. The surface
freezing line was draped roughly just north of the I-44 corridor
and then east across far southwest MO and into extreme northwest
AR. The bulk of the shower activity was located south of the
freezing line.

thru 200 am...shower activity will continue to increase in
coverage and expand north of the freezing line...resulting in the
potential for light ice accumulation...mainly on elevated
surfaces. Rainfall amounts of up to a tenth of an inch are
possible. Any ice accumulation should be less than a tenth of an
inch.
