...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHWESTERN OTTAWA AND
NORTHEASTERN CRAIG COUNTIES UNTIL 815 PM CDT...

AT 743 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO
WAS LOCATED NEAR WELCH...AND MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.

HAZARD...TORNADO AND GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL.

SOURCE...WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED FUNNEL CLOUD.

IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
         SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE
         TO ROOFS...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS
         LIKELY.

* THE STORM WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF THE
  INDICATED COUNTIES..

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW. GO TO A DESIGNED SHELTER SUCH AS A SAFE ROOM OR STORM
CELLAR IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR OF A STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF SEEKING SHELTER
IN A BASEMENT...BE SURE TO GET BENEATH SOMETHING STURDY. IF IN A
MOBILE HOME...A VEHICLE OR OUTDOORS...MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL
SHELTER AND PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.
