A river flood warning remains in effect for the Cypress Creek...East Fork San
Jacinto...Peach Creek...San Jacinto River...West Fork San Jacinto.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.
Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.
Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio or other news sources for further updates.

* At 0830 AM Thursday the stage was 116.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is expected to continue.
* Flood stage is 115.8 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 116.5 feet this afternoon.
* At 115.8 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins.

  The West Fork San Jacinto near Porter
* until further notice...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0815 AM Thursday the stage was 31.2 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is expected to continue.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to crest 32 to 32.5 feet overnight and then
  begin a slow fall Friday afternoon.
* At 28.0 feet...Major lowland flooding begins with water over the road near the
  gage.

  The West Fork San Jacinto in Humble
* until late Monday night...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0845 AM Thursday the stage was 52.9 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is expected to continue.
* Flood stage is 49.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to crest 53 to 53.5 feet by Saturday morning
  and then begin a very slow fall.
* At 53.3 feet...Major lowland flooding continues with water is in homes on Lake
  Lane West and Southshore Drive in the Bellau Woods subdivision and Homes in
  the Treasure Cove subdivision and along Aqua Vista Drive begin flooding.
