Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
319 PM CDT Thu Jul 27 2017

.DISCUSSION...An isolated shower or storm cannot be ruled out the
rest of today, otherwise hot and humid conditions will persist
through the rest of the afternoon. On Friday, a cold front will
start to move through the area from the north. Showers and storms
are expected north of the I-20 corridor with activity spreading south
during the day and into the evening. Storm chances will shift to
along and south of the I-20 corridor on Saturday. The weather will
become quiet and dry by Saturday night after the front passes through.
Some patchy areas of fog cannot be ruled out but dense fog is not
expected.
