SPOT FORECAST FOR BLUE LAKE FIRE
National Weather Service Missoula MT
448 PM MDT Sat Jul 23 2016

Forecast is based on request time of 1631 MDT on July 23.
If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather
Service.

.DISCUSSION...Some towering cumulus clouds and weak showers to the
southwest and south of the fire will continue to move east and not
impact the fire tonight. Through the night, winds will slowly
shift to the north and then northeast as the atmosphere stabilizes
overnight. A ridge of high pressure starts to build in tonight,
causing thermal belts to develop and poor humidity recovery on
the upper slopes. Tomorrow will be warm and dry with relatively
light winds for such an exposed location due to the ridge.
