High pressure was building into the region today behind a departing
cold front. Skies were clearing during the afternoon, with
temperatures in the mid 40s to mid 50s.

Scattered cloud cover will gradually work its way across the region
tonight. Low temperatures are expected to be in the lower to mid
30s. Patchy areas of frost will be possible, especially across
eastern Iowa and southern and central Wisconsin. Skies will remain
partly cloudy on Friday, with highs ranging from the upper 40s in
central Wisconsin to the mid 50s across eastern Iowa and southern

Dry weather will continue through the weekend and into early next
week. Temperatures will be slightly warmer this weekend, with highs
in the mid 50s to mid 60s.
