WEATHER SUMMARY FOR UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI
830 PM CDT FRI SEP 4 2015

HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 80S TO LOWER 90S ACROSS MUCH
OF THE AREA TODAY. THE HIGH DEW POINTS...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS ALONG
AND WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER PUSHED THE HEAT INDICES INTO THE
MID AND UPPER 90S IN MANY LOCATIONS.

A SMALL CHANCE FOR ISOLATED SHOWERS WILL BE SEEN ACROSS THE AREA
TONIGHT AS TEMPERATURES SLIP INTO THE MID 60S TO LOWER 70S. THEN
EXPECT ANOTHER WARM DAY SATURDAY AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB INTO THE MID
80S TO AROUND 90 DEGREES...AND WITH DEW POINTS IN THE UPPER 60S TO
LOWER 70S THESE TEMPERATURES WILL FEEL EVEN WARMER. A SMALL CHANCE
FOR SHOWERS WILL REMAIN ACROSS NORTHERN WISCONSIN.

FOR SUNDAY...TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB A FEW MORE DEGREES WITH HIGHS
EXPECTED TO REACH MID 80S TO LOWER 90S...THOUGH LOW AND MID 80S
ACROSS NORTHERN WISCONSIN. THE THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE
FROM THE NORTHWEST DURING THE DAY...THEN BECOME LIKELY DURING THE
EVENING AND EARLY NIGHT.

THE MEMORIAL DAY OUTLOOK...WHILE A FEW SHOWERS MAY LINGER ACROSS
SOUTHERN WISCONSIN AND EASTERN IOWA IN THE MORNING...BY THE
AFTERNOON THE RAIN SHOULD BE LIMITED TO PORTIONS SOUTHEASTERN
WISCONSIN INTO NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND POSSIBLY INTO EAST CENTRAL
IOWA. LOOK FOR THE HUMIDITY TO DROP TO A MORE COMFORTABLE LEVEL AS
HIGH TEMPERATURES CLIMB INTO THE MID 70S TO AROUND 80 DEGREES.
