HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OVER CANADA EXTENDED SOUTH INTO THE UPPER
MIDWEST EARLY THIS MORNING. THIS HIGH WAS PROVIDING CLEAR SKIES TO
MUCH OF MINNESOTA...ALL OF WISCONSIN AND THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
IOWA. TEMPERATURES IN THESE LOCATIONS RANGED FROM THE 20S BELOW
ZERO TO THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO. ANOTHER FAST MOVING STORM
SYSTEM WAS CROSSING THE NORTHERN ROCKIES AND WAS ALREADY SPREADING
CLOUDS OVER THE REMAINDER OF IOWA. THESE CLOUDS WERE KEEPING
TEMPERATURES IN THE TEENS.

THE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL RETREAT FROM THE UPPER MIDWEST
TODAY AS THE STORM SYSTEM MOVES INTO NEBRASKA. BY LATE
AFTERNOON...THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO SPREAD LIGHT SNOW ACROSS
SOUTH DAKOTA INTO SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA AND WESTERN IOWA. THE REST
OF THE REGION WILL HAVE PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE TEENS AND 20S.

THE STORM SYSTEM WILL SLIDE SOUTHEAST INTO MISSOURI TONIGHT. LIGHT
SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHERN MINNESOTA...MUCH OF IOWA
INTO ILLINOIS WITH SOME MINOR ACCUMULATIONS. OTHERWISE...SKIES
WILL BE PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH LOWS RANGING FROM THE TEENS
BELOW ZERO TO THE TEENS ABOVE.
