Smoke aloft once again made skies hazy across western Kansas,
with no clouds present once the early morning fog burned off.
Temperatures warmed to slightly above normal in western Kansas
today, where highs reached the low to mid 90s. In the eastern half
of the state highs only reached the upper 70s to upper 80s.

Upper level high pressure ridging will remain over the Central
Plains for most of tomorrow, before an upper level disturbance
approaches western Kansas tomorrow evening. Surface low pressure
troughing in eastern Colorado will expand into western Kansas
overnight into tomorrow, but remain fairly weak. Little active
weather is expected across western Kansas tomorrow, except for
some patchy early morning fog, with only a slight chance for
thunderstorms in eastern Colorado and far western Kansas by
tomorrow evening.

Overnight low temperatures will range from the upper 50s in
northwest Kansas, to the upper 60s in southeast Kansas. Highs
tomorrow will reach the mid to upper 90s across eastern Colorado
and western Kansas, with upper 80s to low 90s in central and
eastern Kansas.
