LOW CLOUDS AND BREEZY CONDITIONS WERE COMMON ACROSS PORTIONS OF
SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS THROUGH MID MORNING. CLOUDS HAVE BEEN SLOW TO
DIMINISH ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS AS THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN HALF OF
THE STATE REMAIN UNDER A CANOPY OF LOW CLOUDS. PRE-DAWN LOW
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 40S IN SOUTHWESTERN KANSAS TO THE
LOWER 60S IN SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE WESTERN
UNITED STATES WILL MOVE INTO THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS BY SUNDAY
AFTERNOON. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER WESTERN KANSAS WILL MOVE
EAST TONIGHT AS TROUGHING DEVELOPS ALONG THE LEE SIDE OF THE
ROCKIES THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. MUCH DRIER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED
TODAY WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE AND WARMER TEMPERATURES EXPECTED ON
SUNDAY.

HIGHS TODAY WILL BE IN THE LOWER 70S FROM EASTERN COLORADO TO
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 40S IN
SOUTHERN NEBRASKA TO THE LOWER 50S IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE.
