Weather Summary for Western and North Central Nebraska

Overnight, temperatures were in the low to mid 50s across
southwest and north central Nebraska. Across the northwest
Sandhills temperatures were slightly cooler with lows in the 40s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed with a few locations
receiving greater than 0.50 inches of rain. Winds switched to the
northeast around 5 to 10 mph.

Today, temperatures will be 15 to near 25 degrees below normal
across the Sandhills and far southwest Nebraska, with highs in
the upper 40s to low 60s. Across parts of north central and
southwest Nebraska highs will be in the 60s. Showers and
thunderstorms are possible throughout the day. Winds will be out
of the northeast around 5 to 10 mph.
