WESTERN NEBRASKA EXPERIENCED A MILD AND WINDY DAY WITH THE PASSAGE
OF A COLD FRONT. WIND GUSTS EXCEEDED 40 MILES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
SANDHILLS. SOME LIGHT RAIN DEVELOPED IN NORTHWEST NEBRASKA WHILE
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA STAYED PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY THIS AFTERNOON.
HIGHS RANGED FROM THE UPPER 50S NEAR THE PINE RIDGE TO THE UPPER
60S IN SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA.

STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT AS CLOUDS SLOWLY
CLEAR OUT OF THE AREA. GUSTS NEAR 30 MILES PER HOUR ARE EXPECTED
THROUGH MIDNIGHT THEN WILL SLOWLY DECREASE. LOWS WILL GENERALLY
BE IN THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S ACROSS THE REGION.
