...An Accumulating Snow is Expected Along the Cumberland Plateau
during the mid to late Morning...

Even though the coldest air is a little slow in arriving this
morning, a measurable snow is still expected along the Cumberland
Plateau later this morning.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the northern
Cumberland Plateau until 10 am CST this morning, and if the
coldest air continues to be a bit slow in arriving, the advisory
may need to be extended past 10 am.

Right now, the expectation is that folks in the advisory area will
see snow showers develop around 8 am, with temperatures dropping
to near the freezing mark by 9 or 10 am. Accumulations up to
around a half an inch are possible by 10 am...especially along the
higher elevations.
