...SMOKY CONDITIONS AROUND MAMMOTH LAKES...

PUBLIC REPORTS...HIGHWAY CAMERAS AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS
INDICATE SMOKE FROM THE OWENS RIVER FIRE HAS BECOME WIDESPREAD IN
THE LONGS VALLEY AREA INCLUDING THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES AND
HIGHWAY 395 NEAR CROWLEY LAKES. THIS SMOKE IS AFFECTING AIR
QUALITY AND ANYONE SENSITIVE TO SMOKE SHOULD STAY INDOORS AND
KEEP WINDOWS CLOSED UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE.

THE SMOKE SHOULD BEGIN TO LIFT LATER THIS MORNING AS TEMPERATURES
WARM. HOWEVER, SIMILAR CONDITIONS MAY RETURN AGAIN TONIGHT.
