A small and brief tornado developed from a mini-low-
topped supercell thunderstorm that developed over the Cuming-
Stanton County line. The tornado touched down about one-tenth
of a mile south of old Highway 8, just inside the Cuming County
line, producing crop damage. The tornado tracked north, crossing
old Highway 8, where it produced EF-1 damage to a home and farm
out-buildings about one-tenth of a mile north of old Highway 8.
The tornado continued to track north- northeast slight more than
one-tenth of a mile, then lifted.

EF0...Weak......65 to 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 to 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 to 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 to 165 mph

EF5...Violent...>200 mph
