The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East central Custer County in southeastern Colorado...
  West central Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 845 PM MDT

* At 537 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
  begin shortly.

* Flash flooding will remain over Junkins Burn scar of mainly rural
  areas of east central Custer and west central Pueblo Counties.
  The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other
  loose materials.

This includes the following streams and drainages...South Red
Creek...Middle Creek...Yellow Creek...Smith Creek...Bishop Creek...
Junkins Park Creek...Antelope Creek...South Fork North Hardscrabble
Creek...Lefthand Fork North Creek...South Hardscrabble Creek...Ditch
Creek...North Saint Charles River...Middle Hardscrabble Creek...
Hardscrabble Creek...North Hardscrabble Creek and Middle Red Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain, especially in and around these areas.
