   AMZ600-GMZ606-161900-  221 AM EDT Sat Aug 16 2025    .Synopsis for Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef FL out to 60 nm and for  East Cape Sable to Bonita Beach FL out to 60 nm...    High pressure will remain established over the Florida peninsula  this weekend, with light to moderate easterly to southeasterly winds  prevailing, and generally westerly winds developing across the Gulf  waters each afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will  affect the local waters each day. Any showers or thunderstorms are  capable of producing brief periods of rough seas and gusty winds.    During early next week, northeasterly swell from a distant Hurricane  Erin may increase wave heights across the northern Gulfstream  waters, however current guidance indicates that conditions should  remain below hazardous levels at this time.    Gulf Stream Hazards: None.    The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream as of  Aug 16, 2025.    1 nautical miles north northeast of Fowey Rocks.  7 nautical miles east of Port Everglades.  3 nautical miles east northeast of Lake Worth.  11 nautical miles east northeast of Jupiter Inlet.    This data courtesy of the Naval Oceanographic Office.    $$
