   ANZ300-131030-  921 PM EST Tue Dec 12 2017    .Synopsis for the Long Island Waters and New York Harbor...  Low pressure along the northern New England coast heads into the  Canadian Maritimes Wednesday as high pressure briefly builds into  the area waters. A weak low pressure system will cross the area  waters on Thursday with another system moving up the coast on  Friday night into early Saturday. High pressure builds across the  waters for the weekend.    $$

Waves 2 to  3 ft. Scattered showers late this evening, then slight chance of  snow showers after midnight with vsby 1 to 3 nm.  WED  W winds 20 to 25 kt, increasing to 25 to 30 kt in the  afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 ft. Chance of snow showers in the morning  with vsby 1 to 3 nm.  WED NIGHT  W winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt  after midnight. Gusts up to 35 kt. Waves 2 to 4 ft. Chance of  snow after midnight with vsby 1 to 3 nm.  THU  NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Waves 1 ft or  less. Snow likely, mainly in the morning. Vsby 1 to 3 nm.  THU NIGHT  NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt,  diminishing to 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Waves 1 ft or less.  FRI  W winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft or less.  FRI NIGHT  NW winds 5 to 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt with  gusts up to 25 kt after midnight. Waves 1 ft or less. Chance of  snow. Vsby 1 to 3 nm.  SAT  W winds 15 to 20 kt. Waves around 2 ft.  SAT NIGHT  W winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming NW 10 to 15 kt after  midnight. Waves around 2 ft in the evening, then 1 ft or less.  SUN  W winds 10 to 15 kt. Waves around 2 ft.
