including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue over
the coastal waters through the weekend with the greatest coverage
likely staying in the offshore waters. Small craft should exercise
caution in the Gulf waters for easterly (NE in the morning, SE in
the afternoon) winds of 15 to 20 knots. Gusts to 25 knots and
locally higher seas of 6 to 8 feet are possible. Conditions are
expected to improve this afternoon into Monday.
