This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms will continue through this evening as a
cold front pushes southeast across the state. Some strong to
briefly severe thunderstorms could be seen along and ahead of this
front today...with damaging winds the primary threat expected
with the strongest thunderstorms. A brief weak tornado could also
be seen...mainly across northern sections of the area early this
morning.

While some locally heavy rainfall will be seen through this
evening...most of this rainfall is falling in areas that have been
very dry over the past several weeks. The focus for thunderstorms
will move to southeast sections of the state by this evening and
overnight as the front slows across this portion of Arkansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Additional showers and thunderstorms will be possible into next
week as an active pattern remains in place across the region.
Currently...the threat for seeing any organized strong to severe
weather looks low at this time.

Several inches of rainfall may be seen across the northwest third
of the area during this period. However...most of these areas
have been very dry over the past several weeks.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
