This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorm development can be expected over the higher terrain
again this afternoon with a few storms drifting into nearby
valleys. Gusty winds and lightning will be the main threat. A few
isolated storms will continue to threaten mainly southwest
Colorado overnight with some storms containing moderate to heavy
rainfall rates in addition to lightning. Many smaller
tributaries and main stem rivers will continue to run high and
cold with snowmelt.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Thunderstorm development across the mountains will again be a
threat on Monday with some storms capable of moderate rainfall
rates...gusty winds and lightning. Drier and much warm conditions
return by midweek with another round of wet weather moving back in
for the late week period.
