Southwest wind could produce wind gusts up to 35 mph. A Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 9 PM MDT. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday A cold front will bring cooler temperatures for the plains on Tuesday which will continue on Wednesday. There will be a chance of thunderstorms, mainly over the higher terrain on Wednesday. WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN...400 PM Monday June 17 to 1200 AM Tuesday June 18 IMPACTS...Ozone Action Day Alert is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Request to limit driving gas and diesel- powered vehicles is now in effect until midnight, Monday night, June 17, 2024. Ozone concentrations are expected to reach levels that are Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups on Monday. The highest concentrations are most likely in the southwestern and western portions of the Denver Metro area, from Chatfield State Park northward through Golden. Cooler temperatures and breezy winds are expected to keep ozone in the Good to Moderate range on Tuesday.
