Excessive Rainfall: With multiple rounds of heavy rainfall likely across the region today, significant and life-threatening flash flooding will be possible once again especially across the areas where flooding has already occurred from the past several days. Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms will develop over South Florida today. Some of the thunderstorms could contain gusty winds, heavy downpours and a few funnel clouds or weak tornados. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Enhanced tropical moisture will be in place over South Florida through at least Friday, resulting in periods of heavy rain and the potential for additional flooding concerns.
