Thunderstorms will return this afternoon and evening. A few storms may be severe with large hail and damaging winds. Locally heavy rainfall is possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Additional rounds of thunderstorms are expected mainly Thursday night through Saturday. A few severe storms, heavy rainfall, and flash flooding are possible with each of these rounds. River levels will continue rising through late week with some locations reaching moderate or major flood stage. Minnesota River at Savage affecting Carver, Hennepin, Dakota and
Scott Counties.
.Rounds of showers and thunderstorms have produced 1-3" of rain over
the area, leading to rising river levels. Additional chances for
heavy rain are expected throughout this week.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Yancy Avenue is closed.
