These storms will be capable of large hail, damaging wind gusts, and locally heavy rainfall. A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of the area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. There is a chance of thunderstorms across portions of the area Sunday morning, Wednesday, and Thursday night. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and southeast Missouri,
including the following areas, in central Missouri, Cole MO,
Moniteau MO and Osage MO. In east central Missouri, Crawford MO,
Franklin MO, Gasconade MO and Washington MO. In southeast
Missouri, Iron MO, Madison MO, Reynolds MO and Saint Francois MO.
* WHEN...From this evening through Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms are expected to train repeatedly over the same
locations tonight and Sunday morning, leading to localized
rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches.
