Missouri...

  Big Piney below Fort Leonard Wood  -East Gate affecting Pulaski
  County.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Gasconade River at Hazelgreen affecting Laclede County.

  Gasconade River at Jerome affecting Phelps County.

For the Big Piney River...including Fort Leonard Wood - East Gate...
Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Gasconade River...including Jerome, Hazelgreen...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING TO EARLY
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Gasconade River at Jerome.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning to early Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, minor flooding occurs near the gage site.
  Flood waters reach the lower edge of the concrete building where
  the gage equipment is located.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 13.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow
    morning to 16.5 feet early Wednesday morning. It will then
    fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon to 13.6 feet
    Wednesday evening. It will rise to 13.9 feet early Thursday
    morning. It will then fall again and remain below flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.5 feet on 06/20/1948.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Ongoing flooding will continue today and tonight from
  excessive rainfall over the weekend.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central,
  southwest, and west central Missouri, including the following
  counties, in central Missouri, Benton, Camden, Hickory and
  Pulaski. In east central Missouri, Phelps. In south central
  Missouri, Dent, Howell, Oregon, Shannon and Texas. In southwest
  Missouri, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene,
  Laclede, Ozark, Polk, Webster and Wright. In west central
  Missouri, St. Clair and Vernon.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 759 AM CDT, The Department of Transportation reported
    flooding from previous heavy rain in the advisory area.
  - Many low water crossings remain flooded with closed roads
    within the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fort Leonard Wood, Lebanon, West Plains, Bolivar, Nevada,
    Marshfield, Waynesville, Mountain Grove, El Dorado Springs,
    Buffalo, Ava, Mountain View, Strafford, Willow Springs,
    Houston, Stockton, Hermitage, St. Robert, Licking, Cabool,
    Seymour, Richland, Fair Grove, Mansfield, Appleton City,
    Humansville, Osceola, Fordland, Conway, Gainesville, Norwood,
    Walnut Grove, Lowry City, Pleasant Hope, Hartville, Sheldon,
    Summersville, Fair Play, Weaubleau and Urbana.
