Weather hazards expected... Limited lightning risk. DISCUSSION... There is a low chance (10-20%) of an isolated shower and/or thunderstorm, mainly over southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas. Cloud to ground lightning and very localized heavy rain will be the main risks. No severe weather is expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. A few thunderstorms will be possible Saturday (15-30%). Some sub- severe hazards are possible, including wind gusts up to 40 mph and small hail, but lightning will be the main hazard.
