This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few storms will remain possible during the afternoon over south
central Missouri as the precipitation exits the area.

Residual flooding will also likely continue into tonight where
the excessive rainfall occurred over the weekend.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Residual flooding will likely continue into Monday from the
weekends excessive rainfall.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri,
  including the following counties, in south central Missouri,
  Shannon and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Barton, Cedar, Dade,
  Dallas, Greene, Polk, Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
  Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
  passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 205 PM CDT, Residual flooding caused by previous heavy
    rainfall.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    Big Creek at County Road 390, Sons Creek at County Road 113,
    Elk Creek at Highway Z, Beaver Creek at Crewes Ford Road,
    South Fork Jacks Fork River at Stillhouse Road, Mahans Creek
    at County Road 501 and James River at Bell Ford Road.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Springfield, Republic, Bolivar, Marshfield, Battlefield,
    Mountain Grove, Lamar, Strafford, Houston, Greenfield,
    Willard, Rogersville, Cabool, Seymour, Ash Grove, Fair Grove,
    Mansfield, Lockwood, Jasper, Fordland, Conway, Golden City,
    Liberal, Walnut Grove, Norwood, Pleasant Hope, Hartville,
    Eminence, Mulberry, Summersville, Fair Play, Niangua,
    Morrisville, Mindenmines, Raymondville, Everton, Arcadia,
    Diggins, Dawson and Nashville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
