This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Marginal hail risk.
  Slight thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few thunderstorms will be possible tonight (15-30%) generally
along and north of Highway 54. Lightning will be the main risk,
but isolated instances of marginally severe wind gusts (up to 60
mph) and hail (up to quarters) cannot be ruled out (5% chance).

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A few thunderstorms will be possible Friday (15-30%), mainly south
of I-44. These are not expected to be severe.

Heat index values through Monday will be in the mid-90s to near 103.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

 Spotter activation may be needed tonight for areas toward central
Missouri.
