This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat index values are expected to exceed 100 across portions of
southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa today, and again on Sunday
and Monday.

Strong to severe storms are possible (40% chance) this afternoon
into the early evening hours of 3 to 7 PM in far southeast
Nebraska and southwest Iowa with damaging hail, wind, and an
isolated tornado as hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Expect nearly daily storm chances Friday into next week with
potential for strong to severe storms at times with the best
chances being late Friday into Saturday. Repeated rounds of rain
will also increase flooding potential as we go further into next
week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon, and reports of
wind damage and hail of 1" or more will be appreciated.
