This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees continue through early
evening.

There is a chance for thunderstorms across portions of
north central Kansas this evening, although the highest risk is
south of the outlook area. If storms develop, they will be capable
of producing large hail and isolated damaging wind. The main
timeframe for this is between 7PM and 11PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected late Friday afternoon through
Friday night. Some of these storms may be severe, primarily
between 8PM and 1AM.

Strong to marginally severe storms are possible again Saturday
afternoon and evening.

At least low chances for thunderstorms continue each day Sunday
through Wednesday.
