This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms may produce large hail, damaging winds, and
possibly a tornado late this afternoon into this evening across
southwest Nebraska northward into the sandhills. Storms will then
become more of a hail threat with locally heavy rainfall by early
tonight mainly in the area along and east of Highway 83 and north
of Highway 2.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

An active weather pattern will bring daily chances for thunderstorms
through the workweek. On Tuesday some storms from O`Neill through
Oconto to Stockville may produce isolated wind damage, large hail,
and locally heavy rainfall. The threat for severe storms becomes
uncertain from midweek onward, though the potential for locally
heavy rainfall in showers and thunderstorms will persist.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed.
