This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hot temperatures continue through early the evening with readings
likely remaining in the middle to upper 90s.

A few thunderstorms are possible this evening, mainly west of Highway
61. No severe weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible on Thursday across
southwest Nebraska. At this time, the threat for severe is low.

Rain and thunderstorms are expected Friday into early Saturday across
much of western and central Nebraska. At this time, a few storms may
become strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds the main
threats. The area of greatest concern remains somewhat uncertain so
continue to monitor later forecasts for up-to-date information.

Additional chances for thunderstorms will exist each day Saturday
through Tuesday with the threat for severe weather uncertain.
