This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated showers and storms are possible this afternoon, especially
in southern and central Vermont. A marginal risk outlook indicating
localized shortlived stronger storms capable of gusty winds is
possible in that area, mainly between noon and 6 PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Confidence remains high in sustained heat with warm overnight
conditions next week. Temperatures in the upper 80s to mid 90s and
high dewpoints will likely result in heat indices approaching 100
Tuesday through Thursday. The experimental NWS HeatRisk product is
highlighting almost the entire region with the potential for major
heat impacts developing by next Tuesday and Wednesday. Locally
extreme heat impacts are possible Thursday.
