DISCUSSION...
Another hot day today with highs in the low to mid 90s and
afternoon heat indices of 95-102F. Most areas will remain dry
today, but there is a 10-20% chance of an isolated shower or
thunderstorm in northwest AR in the late afternoon or evening
hours.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions will continue through the remainder of
the forecast period with afternoon heat indices of 95-102F. A few
isolated showers or thunderstorms may develop Monday through
Thursday, with the best chance in the higher terrain of Arkansas
and southeast Oklahoma. Most other areas will see little to no
rainfall. Gusty southerly winds will develop Monday to Tuesday,
with gusts of 25-35 mph.
