DISCUSSION...
A few wind gusts to near 30 miles an hour will continue into this
evening across parts of northeast Oklahoma.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A low chance for isolated thunderstorms in parts of southeast
Oklahoma and western Arkansas will exist Tuesday afternoon, along
with continued gusty south winds in most of the region.

Heat and humidity will increase for the weekend as upper level
high pressure builds back into the region. Expect triple digit
heat index values in at least some spots. A weakness in the upper
level high toward the end of the weekend and early next week will
bring a low chance for showers and thunderstorms back into the
forecast mainly for areas north of Interstate 40.
