This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...After 10 PM.

DISCUSSION...
An isolated showers or thunderstorm remains possible early this
evening near the Oklahoma, Kansas border. Otherwise, thunderstorm
chances return late this evening in northeast Oklahoma and far
northwest Arkansas, mainly north of United States Highway 412.
Instability tonight is expected to remain elevated, therefore
organized severe potential is not anticipated.

SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat Potential.
SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
THURSDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorm chances continue Saturday into Saturday night for
parts of northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas with a
surface boundary setting up near the Kansas and Missouri borders.
Thunderstorm chances then spread southward Sunday and Sunday night
across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas as this boundary
sags southward over the region with an upper level disturbance
moving across the Plains. A limited severe potential is forecast
with the storm chances Saturday into Sunday. Additional shower and
thunderstorm chances remain into early next week with a second
low pressure system moving through the Plains.

Warmer and more humid conditions return Saturday across eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas ahead of the frontal boundary.
Heat index values from the upper 90s to around 103 degrees are
forecast across much of eastern Oklahoma and west central
Arkansas Saturday afternoon.
