This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible across coastal waters
between SE Puerto Rico and the adjacent islands during the morning
hours and over the west interior sections and coastal waters of the
Mona passage during the afternoon hours. Be aware of thunderstorms
in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas mainly across the west interior sections of Puerto
Rico. Urban and small streams flooding is possible.

.Excessive Heat....Along the west and north central coastal and
urban areas of Puerto Rico including the San Juan metro area.
This level of heat affects anyone without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health systems
and in heat- sensitive industries.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Hot and humid conditions will impact the region through the
weekend, with an Excessive Heat Watch likely for Saturday and
possibly for Sunday as local winds will be more southeasterly and
Saharan dust will spread across the region. Residents and visitors
to the islands are urged to stay hydrated and take the necessary
precautions for the expected heat impacts. The rip current risk
will be low for all local beaches through the weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
