This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

between SE Puerto Rico and the adjacent islands during the morning
hours and over the west interior sections and coastal waters of the
Mona passage during the afternoon hours. Be aware of thunderstorms
in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Heat...Along the west and northwest to north central
coastal and urban areas of Puerto Rico, this level of heat affects
anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts
likely in some health systems, heat- sensitive industries and
infrastructure. Elsewhere impacts possible in some health systems
and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Wind...Breezy conditions mainly along the coastal areas during
the afternoon hours. Unsecured items could blow around.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly in beaches of southeast sections of Puerto
Rico.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Warm to hot conditions will continue into the weekend, with an
Excessive Heat Watch again possible by Friday as local easterly winds
will become more southeasterly and Saharan dust will spread across
the region once again. Afternoon convective development may lead
to limited excessive rainfall impacts, mainly across far western
sections of Puerto Rico. A moderate risk of rip current will
continue for most of the southeast beaches of Puerto Rico through
Friday and Saturday.
