Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Heat...Along the west and northwest to north central coastal and urban areas of Puerto Rico, this level of heat affects anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in some health systems, heat- sensitive industries and infrastructure. Elsewhere impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive industries. .Wind...Breezy conditions mainly along the coastal areas during the afternoon hours. Unsecured items could blow around. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone, particularly in beaches of southeast sections of Puerto Rico. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Warm to hot conditions will continue into the weekend, with an Excessive Heat Watch again possible by Friday as local easterly winds will become more southeasterly and Saharan dust will spread across the region once again. Afternoon convective development may lead to limited excessive rainfall impacts, mainly across far western sections of Puerto Rico.
