Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly drained areas across the eastern sections during the early morning hours, and the northern half and west sections of Puerto Rico during the afternoon. Urban and small streams flooding is possible. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive industries. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Hot and humid conditions will continue through the weekend into early next week, with an Excessive Heat Watch again possible in some areas on Monday. Residents and visitors to the islands are urged to stay hydrated and take the necessary precautions for the expected heat impacts. Afternoon convective development may lead to limited excessive rainfall impacts, mainly across parts of central, west and northern half of Puerto Rico. The rip current risk will remain low for all local beaches into early next week. The next tropical wave is forecast to enter the eastern Caribbean late Monday or early Tuesday. This will increase the change for shower development and Thunderstorms across the regional waters and local islands. Another plume of Saharan Dust of light to moderate concentration is also forecast to approach the region trailing the tropical wave. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
