...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Johnson,
southeastern Parker, southwestern Tarrant and Hood Counties through
NOON CDT...

At 1116 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Western Lake to near Squaw Creek
Reservoir. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Granbury, Western Lake, Oak Trail Shores, and Squaw Creek
  Reservoir around 1120 AM CDT.
  Pecan Plantation around 1125 AM CDT.
  Annetta around 1135 AM CDT.
  Aledo around 1140 AM CDT.
  Godley around 1145 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Stockton Bend,
Dennis, Annetta South, Mambrino, Tolar, Benbrook Lake, Lake Granbury,
Acton, Waples, and Tin Top.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 422 and 431.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected across parts of North and
Central Texas today and tonight. The strongest storms could contain
some small hail and gusty winds. In addition, heavy rainfall could
cause some localized areas of flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Thunderstorm chances will continue on Wednesday mainly across Central
Texas. Lightning and heavy rainfall would be the main threats.

On Monday, sea breeze thunderstorms may approach areas as far inland
as Centerville and Palestine.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has issued
an Ozone Action Day for the Dallas-Fort Worth area for Tuesday,
June 11, 2024.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone air pollution in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
on Tuesday. You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a
ride, walking, riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work,
avoiding drive-through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your
vehicle properly tuned.
