...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 AM CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  county, Bexar.

* WHEN...Until 245 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1135 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Antonio, San Antonio Int Airport, Leon Valley, Helotes,
    Fair Oaks Ranch, Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, Bulverde,
    Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Cross Mountain, Lytle, Olmos
    Park, Somerset, Sea World, Lackland AFB, The Dominion,
    Government Canyon State Natural Area, Leon Springs and
    Timberwood Park.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of west central Bexar
County through MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1130 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sea World, or 10 miles east of Castroville, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, Lackland AFB, Sea World, Von
Ormy, Macdona, and Mangus Corner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR WEST CENTRAL BEXAR COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However gusty winds and
heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

Elevated heat index values from 105 to near 110 degrees are
possible near the Rio Grande today. In addition, an isolated
strong to severe storm remains possible this evening across
portions of the southern Edwards Plateau.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorm chances are in the forecast for the Rio Grande
plains, southern Edwards Plateau and Hill Country on Monday and
Tuesday. A low chance for a few strong to severe storms is
possible.
