THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, this level of heat affects most
  individuals sensitive to heat, especially those without effective
  cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
  systems and in heat-sensitive industries. For the Excessive Heat
  Watch, dangerously hot conditions may return on Monday.

* WHERE...In Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques. In Virgin Islands, St
  Croix and St. Thomas, St. John, and Adjacent Islands.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 6 PM AST this evening. For the
  Excessive Heat Watch, from Monday morning through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly in Saint Croix.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

The warm spell may extend throughout the rest of the forecast
period. An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect through at least
Monday. A moderate risk of rip current will persist through the next
few days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
