central Wyoming...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions will be in place
once again across most low-elevation areas this afternoon. Wind gusts
up to 35 mph will be widespread across the forecast area.

Warm temperatures will lead to increased mountain snowmelt.
Rising streams and rivers may lead to minor flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Mountain snowmelt will continue through the rest of the week. Streams
and rivers will continue to run high, which may lead to minor
flooding.

...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM MDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Wyoming, including the
  following county, Washakie.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 449 AM MDT, the gauge stage peaked at 4.0 feet this
    morning. At 4.5 feet, minor flooding of homes along creek
    from Canyon Creek to town of Ten Sleep is possible.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ten Sleep, Tensleep Canyon, Leigh Creek Campground and Wigwam
    Fish Rearing Station.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
