This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of panhandle
Nebraska...east central Wyoming...south central Wyoming and
southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms will be on the increase this afternoon...initially
across Carbon and Albany Counties west of the Laramie Range. These
storms will move into eastern areas late this afternoon into the
evening hours. Initially high based...these storms will be capable
of strong to severe downburst winds to 50 to 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Daily chances for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms
continue this weekend through Monday.

  Encampment River at Encampment affecting Carbon County.

For the Encampment River...including Encampment...flooding is
possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding.

Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor
rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings.

...FLOOD WATCH FOR SNOWMELT NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT TO
SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Encampment River at Encampment.

* WHEN...From late Friday night to Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 6.5 feet, Flood stage. Low lying flooding occurs
  upstream in Riverside. Flooding occurs over the lower campsites
  along the river at Lazy Acres Campground in Riverside. Minor
  flooding occurs over the Odd Fellows Campground and Baggot Rocks
  Road. Water begins to encroach the gage house.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 PM MDT Thursday the stage was 5.6 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 6.5 feet.
