This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of south central
Wyoming and southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue this
afternoon and evening across Carbon and Albany counties to the
west of the Laramie Range. Severe weather is unlikely. However,
any storms that develop could produce wind gusts in excess of 50
MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

After a few warm and dry days, showers and thunderstorms return
Thursday and may become more widesrpead on Friday.

Spotters are encouraged to report severe weather to the National
Weather Service in Cheyenne.

...FLOOD WATCH FOR SNOWMELT NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues to be possible.

* WHERE...A portion of the North Snowy Range Foothills near the town
  of Elk Mountain.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Warm temperatures are causing rapid snowmelt from an abundant
    snowpack in the Snowy Range. Water levels appear to have
    stablized below flood stage but flooding remains a
    possibility with on-going melting and warming temperatures.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
