This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Florida Keys and
adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms this morning will increase
in coverage throughout the day with showers becoming widespread
and thunderstorms becoming scattered. The primary hazards will be
lightning strikes and gusty winds. Locally heavy rainfall will
also be possible, so a Flood Watch is in effect for the Florida
Keys through this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected through
Wednesday. The primary hazards will be lightning strikes and
locally gusty winds. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible
through Friday night.

Small Craft Advisories may be required for portions of the
Florida
Keys coastal waters Monday through Wednesday due to freshening
easterly breezes.

.NOW...
Through 900 am, widespread showers and potentially isolated thunderstorms
will move northeastward at near 10 knots through the Straits of
Florida south of the Upper Keys and the deep Gulf waters surrounding
the Dry Tortugas. There are also a few isolated showers over Florida
Bay. This activity is capable of moderate downpours reducing
visbilities, and wind gusts of up to 30 knots, and an occasional
lightning strike or two.
