THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST ARKANSAS...
THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND WEST TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED TONIGHT FOR PORTIONS OF
NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI...MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF A LINE FROM
IUKA TO TUPELO TO CALHOUN CITY. HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED IN
THESE AREAS...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS WHERE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP AND
MOVE REPEATEDLY ACROSS THE SAME AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL CONTINUE ACROSS NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI
THROUGH SUNDAY WITH 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL POSSIBLE WITH
ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS.

STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ACROSS
NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN
EXCESS OF ONE INCH PER HOUR OR ANY OBSERVED FLOODING TO THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TENNESSEE.
