258 PM PDT FRI MAY 26 2017

The National Weather Service in Reno has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Snowmelt in...
Northern Mono County in northern California...
  Douglas County in western Nevada...
Southern Lyon County in west central Nevada...

* Until 330 PM PDT Tuesday

* The West Walker River will approach and possibly exceed flood
stage both Friday and Saturday nights. Higher flows above minor
and approaching moderate flood stages are expected Sunday night
  and likely through next week.

* Warming temperatures will produce increased snowmelt, creating
high flows in area streams and rivers through the weekend and
likely for the next several weeks. This will produce additional
minor flooding along the West Walker River and exacerbate already
existing minor flooding in Antelope Valley and the southern end of
  the Mason Valley.

* Flooding of pastures, rural roads, and campgrounds is possible
through the West Walker River Canyon. Additional flooding of
agricultural areas in Antelope Valley along the West Walker River
is likely along with very high water through Smith Valley and
  Wilson Canyon.

* Along the East Walker River minor flooding is expected to continue
from above Strosnider Ditch to the confluence with the West Walker
  River.
