  NORTHWESTERN KANKAKEE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST ILLINOIS...
  WESTERN WILL COUNTY IN NORTHEAST ILLINOIS...

* UNTIL 1000 PM CDT

* AT 553 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS WESTERN WILL
  AND NORTHWEST KANKAKEE COUNTIES. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES 1 TO 2
  INCHES HAS FALLEN IN SOME AREAS...WITH AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF RAIN
  POSSIBLE THROUGH 7 PM CDT.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
  OCCUR...ESPECIALLY ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND NEAR LOW WATER
  CROSSINGS. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING
  INCLUDE...BOURBONNAIS...BRADLEY...CHANNAHON...INGALLS PARK...
  JOLIET...KANKAKEE...MANTENO...NEW LENOX...WILMINGTON...BRAIDWOOD...

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

  WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME OF WHICH MAY PRODUCE:

  WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH.
  SMALL HAIL.
  BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS.
  OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

  AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

  ALL OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA THROUGH MID
  EVENING.

  DISCUSSION:

  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS EVENING.
  AS TEMPERATURES BEGIN TO COOL THIS EVENING...THE THUNDERSTORM
  ACTIVITY WILL DIMINISH WITH AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM POSSIBLE
  THROUGH MIDNIGHT. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED BUT SOME OF
  THE STRONGEST STORMS MAY PRODUCE WINDS TO 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

AFTERNOON SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY...WITH PERIODIC CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY THROUGH
THURSDAY.
