...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and
  northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in northern
  Indiana, Adams, Allen IN, Blackford, Cass IN, De Kalb,
  Elkhart, Fulton IN, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, La
  Porte, Lagrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph
  IN, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, White, and Whitley. In
  southwest Michigan, Berrien, Branch, Cass MI, Hillsdale, and
  St. Joseph MI. In northwest Ohio, Allen OH, Defiance, Fulton
  OH, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Williams.

* Through Wednesday afternoon

* 1 to 2 inches of additional rain is expected across the watch
  area, with heaviest amounts expected along and west of
  Interstate 69. Locally higher amounts are possible.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

If you live along streams and rivers or in any flood prone area,
remain alert to this flooding potential the next several days.

 The Flood Warning has been extended for
  The Eel River at North Manchester
* until late Friday night.
* At 10 AM Tuesday the stage was 11.4 feet and steady.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 14.3 feet around  7
  PM Wednesday February 21 and fall below flood stage around 12 AM
  Friday February 23.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.5 feet which occurred
  on Apr 19 2013.

rain will cause flooding on many area streams and rivers. For the

A wintry mix is possible over northwest Indiana into far southern
Lower Michigan late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

River flooding will continue through the rest of the week across the

A wintry mix is possible at times from Wednesday night through
Thursday night.
