...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Southwest
Lower Michigan...

  Portage River Near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County

.A low pressure system will produce under an inch of rainfall today
and tonight. The extended outlook is for high pressure Sunday and
Monday. The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 24
hour precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message... Motorists should not attempt to drive around
barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Portage River Near Vicksburg.
* until late Monday night.
* at  7:00 AM Saturday the stage was 4.96 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Forecast, the river is expected to rise to near flood stage
  tomorrow early afternoon.
* Impact, at 5.0 feet...Expect overflows into wooded areas and
  farmland adjacent to the river
* Flood history, this crest compares to a previous crest of 5.0 feet
  on Apr 20 2013.

SOUTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN. STORMS MAY BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE WITH
DAMAGING WINDS BEING THE MAIN THREAT. AN ISOLATED TORNADO CANNOT
BE RULED OUT EITHER. TORRENTIAL RAIN MAY LEAD TO LOCALIZED
FLOODING AS WELL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
