LEADING TO ICY SPOTS PARTICULARLY ON UNTREATED SURFACES.

   WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.

SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING
WILL CHANGE TO RAIN TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. THE RAIN COULD
LEAD TO MINOR LOCALIZED FLOODING...DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF
RAINFALL AND SNOWMELT ALONG WITH THE MOVEMENT OF ICE ON AREA
WATERWAYS.

PRECIPITATION MAY CHANGE BACK TO ALL SNOW WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO
THURSDAY. SEVERAL INCHES OF ACCUMULATING SNOW ARE POSSIBLE IN
SOME SPOTS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT FROM 3 PM TUESDAY TO 1 AM EST WEDNESDAY.

* LOCATIONS...THE INTERSTATE I-95 CORRIDOR FROM NORTHEASTERN
  MARYLAND TO CENTRAL NEW JERSEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN 1 INCH

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...SNOW SHOULD OVERSPREAD THE REGION DURING THE MID
  AFTERNOON TUESDAY BEFORE QUICKLY CHANGING TO SLEET AND THEN
  FREEZING RAIN FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST DURING THE LATE
  AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THE PRECIPITATION IS THEN EXPECTED
  TO TRANSITION TO ALL RAIN LATER IN THE EVENING AS TEMPERATURES
  WARM ABOVE FREEZING. THE DURATION OF THE FREEZING RAIN MAY BE
  LONGEST JUST NORTH AND WEST OF I-95.

* IMPACTS...UNTREATED SURFACES WILL BECOME SLIPPERY AND HAZARDOUS.
  EVEN LIGHT ICING AMOUNTS WILL LEAD TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL,
  ESPECIALLY WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR THE WINTRY MIX TO COINCIDE
  WITH THE TUESDAY EVENING COMMUTE.

* WINDS...SOUTH 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S, RISING ABOVE FREEZING BY AROUND
  MIDNIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
